Liberty Village Art Crawl: Art Fusion

Art Fusion, held on Saturday October 19th 2014 3pm thru 10pm in the Liberty Street Galleria Market, is an event created  to celebrate a collaboration of the arts. The  Carnival showcases local talent across the arts spectrum, from painters to acrobats, musicians and top performance dancers.This is a co-op-collective event encouraging community involvement through free workshops.

2013 Guelph Street Art Festival

The 2013 Street Art Fest held on Saturday September 28th, 12pm thru 5pm on Cork Street, to celebrate the diversity of street art by featuring works of various urban art forms.  The event focuses on benefitting practicing street artists, giving them the forum to showcase their  talents to the viewing public.  At the same time, the festival seeks to benefit the community through participation, understanding and collaboration of urban and street art.

Hamilton Artists Inc Annual Fundraiser "ART GRAB"
Friday May 4th, 2012 7pm - 9pm
A fundraiser for Hamilton’s artist run-centre, Art Grab 2012 presents a gallery full of anonymous works by local artists, celebrities and community leaders who support the arts and have accepted the challenge to contribute a 5″ x 7″ work of art – only after the work is selected will “who done it” be revealed. For $71, this is a great way to support our local arts community and even experience some of the glamour of being an international art thief without the risk of jail time.


Neighbour to Neighbour Sleep Out For Hunger
Friday May 4th - Saturday May 5th
The first community fundraiser of it's kind, a partnership with local volunteers and businesses to raise awareness of the millions of Canadians going hungry everyday, including children. Each participant, including yours truly, slept outside in a homemade house to raise money for the National Canadian Food Bank.

2 kilometers of car-free roads for pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, skateboards, wheelchairs, and more!  With an expanded programming area now extending all the way down James Street North from Guise Street to King Street.

Hamilton Conservation Authority and September Seventh Entertainment Limited are hosting the 2011 Greenbelt Harvest Picnic which takes place at Christie Lake Conservation Area in Dundas, Ontario.

SUPERCRAWL is an annual event that celebrates the diversity of Hamilton’s James Street North district, our multi-disciplinary arts  community, and the incredible spark that results with our unique mix  of cultures, businesses and creative people.

OPEN STREETS @ the Artist Bridge North of Barton Street
Sunday September 18th, 2011 from 10am - 5pm
Leave your car at home and come walk, ride, or roll down James St. North! Join us on Sunday, September 18th for this family-friendly event by walking, cycling, rollerblading or skateboarding the whole family over to James St. North between the hours of 10am to 5pm. During this time, the south leg of King Street East at Gore Park (from James to Hughson) and James Street North from York Blvd. to Guise Street will be closed to cars so park your car and get active! We invite everyone to experience James St North, Gore Park, and the waterfront from the middle of the street!
